Qualifications

  • Professional accountant with CA/CPA/ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CMA or equivalent.
  • 12+ years of FP&A, management reporting, commercial finance, and performance management.
  • Strong UAE experience in large, diversified organisations.
  • Experience leading group consolidation across entities.
  • Proven experience presenting to Boards and senior leadership.
  • Senior finance leader with team management and stakeholder influence.
  • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, planning and management reporting.
  • Strong financial modelling, business case evaluation and scenario planning.
  • Experience operating within multi-entity group structures.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Develop performance measurement frameworks and KPIs.
  • Analyse financial data to provide actionable insights for senior management.
  • Monitor and assess financial performance of business units.
  • Collaborate with department heads to align financial and operational goals.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Lead annual budgeting across the Group with robust planning and consolidation.
  • Manage periodic forecasting and rolling forecast cycles.
  • Develop medium/long-term financial plans aligned to strategy.
  • Partner with business leaders on revenue, cost, capex, cash flow plans.
  • Drive group-wide financial performance analysis and recommendations.
  • Produce monthly/quarterly/ad-hoc management reporting packs.
  • Analyse actual vs budget/forecast/prior year.
  • Lead variance analysis and identify drivers.
  • Facilitate regular business performance reviews.
  • Assess profitability by customer/contract/service line.
  • Support strategic initiatives with modelling and scenario analysis.
  • Provide commercial insight for investments, M&A and business cases.
  • Assess investment opportunities and monitor post-investment performance.
  • Analyse working capital, cash conversion, and efficiency metrics.
  • Develop executive presentations for Board meetings.
  • Drive improvements in planning, reporting, performance management.
  • Enhance reporting frameworks, dashboards, MIS.
  • Ensure data integrity across the Group.
  • Collaborate with Finance, HR, Procurement, IT and operations.
  • Strengthen governance and reporting standards.
  • Lead and develop the FP&A team; mentor staff.

The Successful Applicant
  • Professionally qualified accountant with a recognised qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CMA or equivalent.
  • Minimum 12+ years of relevant experience across FP&A, management reporting, commercial finance and business performance management.
  • Strong UAE experience within a large, complex or diversified organisation.
  • Mandatory experience leading group consolidation processes across multiple entities.
  • Proven experience presenting to Boards, Executive Committees and senior leadership teams.
  • Senior finance leadership experience with responsibility for managing teams and influencing key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and management reporting.
  • Strong financial modelling, business case evaluation and scenario planning skills.
  • Experience operating within a multi-entity group structure.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to challenge and influence decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
