Job summary

Remotedxb in Dubai is seeking an experienced robotics software engineer to design, develop, and deploy autonomy software for aerial robotics, including navigation, mapping, and decision systems. You will write clean C++ and Python, integrate ROS and PX4/ArduPilot, test in field demonstrations, and collaborate with customers to understand mission needs and deliver robust flight solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/Robotics/EE.
• 5+ years in robotics or autonomy software.
• Proficient in C++ and Python.
• Familiar with ArduPilot/PX4 and aerial systems.
• Hands-on ROS experience.
• Expertise in sensor fusion, SLAM, localization, path planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in robotics or autonomy software development
• Proficiency in C++ and Python
• Familiarity with aerial systems and flight controllers (Ardupilot, PX4)
• Hands‑on experience with ROS and autonomous robotics platforms
• Background in sensor processing and fusion, SLAM, localization, path planning, and/or computer vision
• Strong communication skills for customer‑facing and cross‑functional collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DevOps best practices (CI/CD pipelines, containerization)
• Familiarity with machine learning techniques applied to robotics
• Hands‑on experience with hardware integration and prototyping
• Understanding of control systems and kinematics
• Knowledge of military or defense‑related environments
• Active clearance
