Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI or related field.
• 2 to 6 years' experience in software engineering or applied AI engineering.
• Strong production experience in Python or TypeScript LLMs and agents.
• Experience building RAG pipelines and tool-calling agents.
• Hands-on with LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI SDK and Anthropic SDK.
• Experience deploying on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud with Git and CI/CD.
• Experience in governed enterprise environments with data access controls.
• English proficiency required; Arabic a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate client business needs into scoped AI solutions with measurable outcomes.
• Design, build and deploy production-grade LLM systems including RAG pipelines and agents.
• Develop Python or TypeScript services, APIs, connectors and integrations.
• Apply engineering best practices: code review, testing, CI/CD, logging and monitoring.
• Deliver within governed enterprise environments and security reviews.
• Communicate trade-offs, progress and risks to client stakeholders.
• Drive adoption through training and knowledge transfer.
• Support business development by shaping technical solutions for pipelines.
• Contribute to Sia accelerators and training materials.

Our Forward Deployed Engineer will be embedded with Sia s clients across the Middle East turning generative AI prototypes into production-grade solutions that create measurable value in daily operations As part of the Data amp AI team in the Middle East they will build beyond low-code own the technical delivery of client builds and act as the bridge between engineering teams and business stakeholders The work is hands‑on and varied giving our Forward Deployed Engineer the opportunity to shape the role around their strengths from agentic systems to enterprise integrations and AI adoption

Tasks may include but are not limited to

• Translate client business needs into scoped deployable AI solutions with clear acceptance criteria and measurable outcomes
• Design build and deploy production-grade LLM systems including RAG pipelines tool-calling agents workflow automation and conversational interfaces
• Develop Python or TypeScript services APIs connectors and integrations with client data sources and business tools
• Apply engineering best practice code review automated testing CI CD logging and monitoring and track quality latency and cost of AI components
• Deliver within governed enterprise environments using approved libraries and services and respecting data access controls and security reviews
• Communicate trade-offs progress and risks to client stakeholders and escalatescope changes early
• Drive adoption through training documentation and knowledge transfer so clients can run the solution themselves
• Support business development by helping define client needs and shape technical solutions for the pipeline
• Contribute to Sia s internal accelerators research and training materials on generative AI and agents
• Carry out other appropriate delegated duties as required

Company Description

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI or a related field
• 2 to 6 years' experience in software engineering or applied AI engineering
• Strong production experience in Python or TypeScript LLMs and agents running in production, not only prototypes
• Experience building RAG pipelines, tool-calling agents and LLM workflows, with evaluation and safeguards
• Hands‑on experience with applied AI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, the OpenAI SDK and the Anthropic SDK
• Experience building beyond low-code, including API design and integration across heterogeneous systems
• Experience deploying solutions on a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud), with Git and CI/CD
• Experience working in governed enterprise environments (approved libraries and services, data access controls, security reviews)
• Ability to translate client needs into deployable solutions and to explain technical decisions to non‑technical audiences
• No certification required
• Professional proficiency in English is a must; Arabic is a plus
• Based in the UAE (Dubai or Abu Dhabi)
