Job summary

Sia Partners in the UAE seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to join the Data & AI team across the Middle East, embedding with clients to transform generative AI prototypes into production-grade solutions that deliver measurable value in daily operations.

You will design LLM systems, build RAG pipelines and Python/TypeScript services while collaborating with business stakeholders, ensuring governance and security reviews are respected. English proficiency is required; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• . Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI or a related field.
• . 2–6 years of software engineering or applied AI engineering experience.
• . Strong production experience in Python or TypeScript.
• . LLMs and agents in production, not just prototypes.
• . Experience building RAG pipelines and tool-calling agents.
• . Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI SDK, Anthropic SDK.
• . Cloud deployment experience with CI/CD and API integrations.
• . Professional proficiency in English; Arabic a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate client needs into deployable AI solutions with measurable outcomes.
• Design, build and deploy production-grade LLM systems, including RAG pipelines, tool-calling agents, workflow automation and conversational interfaces.
• Develop Python or TypeScript services, APIs, connectors and integrations with client data sources and business tools.
• Apply engineering best practices: code review, automated testing, CI/CD, logging and monitoring, and track quality, latency and cost of AI components.
• Deliver within governed enterprise environments, with approved libraries and data access controls and security reviews.
• Communicate trade-offs, progress and risks to client stakeholders and accelerate scope changes early.
• Drive adoption through training, documentation and knowledge transfer so clients can run the solution themselves.
• Support business development by shaping client needs and technical solutions for the pipeline.
