Job summary

A leading food safety organization in Dubai is seeking a candidate to manage and oversee food safety management systems, conduct daily inspections, and provide training to ensure compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities include managing lab testing, handling complaints, and coordinating with external suppliers to maintain efficient operations. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong knowledge of food safety protocols and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee food safety management systems for the entire CPU.
  • Conduct daily inspections to ensure compliance with FSMS standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to ensure adherence to food safety protocols.
  • Manage lab testing and analyze product testing reports.
  • Monitor products before dispatch and rectify any issues.
  • Generate suggestions for continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Handle and investigate customer complaints related to food safety.
  • Ensure timely corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers for timely services.
  • Verify compliance with food safety logs.
  • Ensure traceability of finished products.
  • Escalate maintenance issues to the concerned teams.
  • Conduct transportation audits for compliance.
  • Provide quarterly refresher training for staff.
  • Perform daily quality checks for compliance with standards.
  • Ensure active food watch account for inspections.
  • Attend third-party audits and support CAR report preparations.
  • Monitor cleaning activities and maintain hygiene standards.
  • Draft checklists and standard operating procedures.
