Manufacturing Scope
- Plan, oversee, and optimize daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Manage production schedules, capacity planning, and inventory levels to support current and forecasted sales volumes.
- Implement and monitor strict quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Maintain and improve manufacturing workflows to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and control costs.
- Ensure that equipment and machinery are maintained and operate safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with product development teams to ensure manufacturability and scalability of new products.
- Manage and develop production staff, ensuring proper training, adherence to SOPs, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Operational Scope
- Memorize all products and descriptions, understand dietary labels and be able to recommend to customers correct products based on accurate knowledge. A written exam will be given to test the applicant's ability to comprehend easily our products.
- Coordinate with procurement for timely sourcing of raw materials and packaging based on production schedules.
- Supervise warehousing of finished goods, ensuring proper storage, stock rotation (FIFO), and inventory accuracy.
- Liaise with the dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment to both B2B and B2C customers.
- Monitor KPIs related to production, fulfillment accuracy, delivery lead times, and returns, and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Implement production planning systems to automate and optimize operations.
- Maintain all production documentation and reports for internal use and external audits.
- Ensure health and safety compliance in production and warehouse areas.
- Conduct regular visits to branches to audit and evaluate food production practices, ensuring consistency with standard procedures and food safety protocols.
- Serve as the escalation point for production-related issues affecting customer deliveries.
Skills
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Graduate of relevant courses.
- At least 5 years of experience in food production or manufacturing, with at least 2 year in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve production issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management software is a plus.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in a food production facility, requiring adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
May involve standing for long periods and working in cold or hot environments.
Occasional lifting of heavy materials may be required.
