Job summary

GMG is seeking a Shelf Filler - FMCG Merchandising in Dubai to support daily retail operations by arranging products, updating displays, and implementing merchandising strategies.

You will monitor stock levels, rotate products for freshness, execute promotions, and report inventory issues to store management. The role emphasizes customer experience, accurate presentation, and alignment with brand guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in FMCG, retail merchandising, shelf filling, stock replenishment, or store operations.
• Good communication skills with the ability to coordinate with store teams and supervisors.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain neat, attractive product displays.
• Willingness to work anywhere in UAE as per business requirements.
• Ability to support promotional displays and seasonal campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Arrange products logically and attractively on shelves, display units, and other assigned store areas.
• Implement merchandising strategies that improve product visibility, customer access, and sales performance.
• Design and maintain merchandise displays in line with company standards and brand guidelines.
• Ensure shelves remain clean, organized, well-stocked, and easy for customers to shop from.
• Rotate products properly to maintain freshness, reduce wastage, and support stock movement.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability on shelves and display areas.
• Conduct regular stock checks and support timely stock replenishment across assigned categories.
• Report low inventory, overstock, damaged items, expired products, or display issues to management.
• Maintain updated price labels and ensure products are visible, accessible, and correctly presented.
• Execute in-store promotions, seasonal displays, special events, and campaign-based merchandising activities.
• Track promotional effectiveness and share feedback or observations with store management.
• Monitor competitor activity and support improvements in merchandising approach where required.
• Use customer feedback and sales observations to improve product placement and display quality.
• Support analysis of sales trends and make practical recommendations to improve sales performance.
• Coordinate with store management and GMG teams to support smooth retail operations.
• Follow company policies, health and safety rules, hygiene expectations, and store operating procedures.
