Job summary

YOSH HOSPITALITY LLC OPC in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Florist to design and arrange a wide range of floral displays for private homes, VIP visits, and intimate events. You will create bouquets, centerpieces, installations, and maintain high presentation standards.

You will select and condition fresh flowers, manage stock, coordinate with household teams and event staff, monitor plant health, and ensure hygiene and safety across all displays.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a florist or floral designer in private households, events or high-end retail environments.
• Formal qualification in floristry is desirable but not essential for candidates with strong practical experience and portfolio evidence.

Responsibilities

• Create and arrange floral designs for homes, private events, and VIP visits.
• Select, condition, and prepare fresh flowers to ensure longevity and visual impact.
• Maintain displays: refresh water, trim foliage, replace stems, and manage cleanliness.
• Coordinate stock, order flowers and supplies, track invoices, and assist budget monitoring.
• Set up and breakdown on-site for events, ensuring secure, high-quality presentations.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene procedures when handling tools and materials.

Job description

Floral Design and Arrangement

Create a wide range of floral arrangements for the home events and VIP visits including bouquets table centrepieces standing arrangements and installations following the household s style and quality standards

Select prepare and condition fresh flowers and foliage to ensure longevity and visual impact using appropriate techniques for cutting hydrating and arranging

Maintenance and Care

Maintain floral displays throughout the property replacing stems refreshing water and trimming foliage to preserve presentation and hygiene

Monitor flower and plant health apply basic plant care practices and elevate any pest disease or maintenance issues to the household manager or gardener

Manage appropriate storage and refrigeration of flowers and materials to maintain quality and reduce waste

Inventory Procurement and Budget

Order flowers foliage and sundry supplies from approved suppliers ensuring cost-effective purchasing and timely delivery

Keep accurate records of stock levels orders and invoices and assist with budget monitoring and reconciliation as requested

Maintain a tidy and organised floral workspace and ensure tools and equipment are cleaned and stored safely

Event and VIP Support

Support planning and delivery of floral requirements for private events dinners and official visits liaising with events protocol and household teams to meet brief and timings

Provide on site setup and breakdown for events ensuring arrangements are installed securely and presented to the highest standard

Hygiene Safety and Standards

Adhere to health and safety procedures when handling tools floral foam cleaning products and waste and follow safe manual handling practices

Maintain a professional appearance and deliver courteous discreet service when interacting with household members guests and suppliers

Key Skills & Qualifications Education and Experience

Proven experience as a florist or in a floral design role, preferably within private households, events or high-end retail environments.

Demonstrable creative flair and strong attention to detail in floral design and presentation.

Physically fit with stamina for standing, lifting and manual handling associated with arranging and installing displays.
