Job summary

PPOAR is seeking an Indian Barista for our busy cafe in Abu Dhabi. You will craft and serve a range of coffee and beverages while delivering excellent customer service to every guest.

We value passion for coffee, strong English communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Indian candidates with valid residency in Abu Dhabi are encouraged to apply, with weekend/evening flexibility as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum prior experience as a Barista or in a similar role is welcome but not required.
• Candidate must be from India with a valid residency visa in Abu Dhabi.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
• Good communication skills in English.
• A friendly personality with excellent customer service skills.
• Flexible schedule with weekend/evening availability if needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies.
• Ensure high-quality standards are met when making drinks.
• Take customer orders and handle transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and addressing questions/concerns.
• Follow health and safety guidelines while handling food and drinks.
• Keep track of inventory levels and place orders when necessary.
• Train new team members on drink preparation according to our standards.
