Job summary

SAFEWATER CHEMICALS LLC in Abu Dhabi seeks a skilled fitter and welder to interpret blueprints, plan fitting and welding operations, and join components with TIG and Arc welding to ensure integrity and aesthetics.

The candidate will cut, grind and shape metal to exact specifications, conduct final inspections, and hold a vocational welding certificate with AWS/ASME endorsements; 3–5 years of hands-on experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings for planning welding operations.
• Welders must be able to cut, grind and shape metal to exact specifications.
• Certified TIG and Arc welding skills (AWS/ASME) preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on fitter/welder experience in manufacturing or construction.
• Possession of a relevant vocational training certificate or equivalent in welding and fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Precisely interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan and execute fitting and welding operations with accuracy.
• Assemble, fabricate and join metal components using TIG and Arc welding techniques ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic quality.
• Perform precise cutting, grinding and shaping of metal materials to meet exact specifications and project requirements.
• Conduct thorough inspections of finished workpieces identifying and rectifying any defects or deviations from standards.

• Perform precise cutting grinding and shaping of metal materials to meet exact specifications and project requirements
• Conduct thorough inspections of finished workpieces identifying and rectifying any defects or deviations from standards
• Possession of a relevant vocational training certificate or equivalent qualification in welding and fabrication.
• Certified TIG and Arc welding skills, preferably with recognized certifications (e.g., AWS, ASME).
• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Fitter and Welder in a manufacturing or construction environment.
• Familiarity with various metal types, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, and their welding characteristics.
