Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Welder to perform welding and fabrication work according to technical drawings, specifications, and safety standards. The Welder will be responsible for preparing materials, operating welding equipment, inspecting welds, and ensuring all work meets required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding activities using MIG, TIG, ARC/SMAW, and other applicable welding processes.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and specifications.
- Prepare, cut, fit, align, and assemble metal components before welding.
- Select appropriate welding methods, materials, electrodes, and equipment.
- Operate and maintain welding machines, cutting equipment, grinders, and other tools.
- Inspect completed welds for cracks, defects, porosity, distortion, and other imperfections.
- Carry out grinding, polishing, and finishing work as required.
- Ensure dimensions, alignment, and tolerances comply with drawings and specifications.
- Follow approved welding procedures and quality-control requirements.
- Maintain welding equipment and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
- Follow all company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Use appropriate PPE and ensure safe handling and storage of welding materials.
- Coordinate with supervisors, fabricators, fitters, and other team members to complete assigned work.
- Complete welding work within the required time and quality standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant welding experience, preferably in fabrication, construction, manufacturing, or maintenance.
- Technical/vocational qualification in welding or a related field is preferred.
- Good knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and materials.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and welding symbols.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and welding hazards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to work in different positions and environments.
- Relevant welding certifications are an advantage.

Working Conditions
