Fitness and Guest Experience

• Ensure interactions with guests in fitness areas meet or exceed the resort 's operating standards.
• Coordinate and facilitate sports, fitness and recreational activities.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and approachable manner while promoting physical activity and healthy living.
• Motivate guests of different ages through dynamic instruction and positive reinforcement.
• Support an enjoyable and welcoming environment for guests participating in fitness and recreational activities.
• Work with colleagues to plan and deliver special events, themed fitness programs and wellness initiatives.
• Contribute ideas for activities and experiences that encourage physical movement and guest participation.

Health, Safety and Equipment

Guest and employee health and safety must remain a priority throughout all fitness and recreational activities. The Fitness Instructor will ensure applicable safety practices are followed while maintaining appropriate confidentiality for guests and colleagues.

• Ensure Fitness and Gym equipment remains in good working condition.
• Inspect fitness equipment, sports gear and activity areas regularly.
• Maintain appropriate cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and activity spaces.
• Identify equipment or facility issues that could affect safe operation.
• Conduct inventories of operating equipment in accordance with audit standards to support effective operational cost management.
• Maintain fitness and recreational areas in a condition suitable for safe guest use.

Qualifications and Experience

• Internationally recognized personal training certification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Enthusiasm and a strong interest in promoting health and wellness.
• Ability to engage and motivate guests of different ages through positive, energetic instruction.
