Job summary

Flying Seekers is seeking a First Officer in Dubai to act as the second in command of the aircraft while supporting the Captain. Key responsibilities include maintaining safe aircraft operations and adhering to company policies.

The ideal candidate will possess an ICAO ATPL certificate, English proficiency at ICAO level 4, and substantial flying experience, including recent flight hours on B737 aircraft.

Qualifications

• ICAO ATPL certificate with a valid type rating and a 1st Class Medical certificate from ICAO.
• English proficiency at ICAO level 4 or above and eligibility for a UAE residency visa.
• Flown within the last 24 months and hold the B737-300 to 900 (NG/EFIS) endorsement within the past 24 months.
• At least 1,500 total flying hours, with a minimum of 500 hours on B737-300 to 900 (NG/EFIS) type aircraft.

Job description

The First Officer acts as the second in command of the aircraft, supporting the Captain in both normal and abnormal situations to maintain the highest safety standards. Additionally, the First Officer is responsible for setting and upholding high standards in all aspects of the position while representing flydubai as a brand ambassador to ensure the corporate image is maintained. Your key responsibilities include maintaining the safe operation of the aircraft, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, setting an example for all crew members, and reporting any safety breaches to the company or GCAA. The First Officer is also responsible for ensuring they are fit to fly and notifying the company if they are not, as well as operating the aircraft according to flydubai's and GCAA's approved policies and procedures.

Requirements

• ICAO ATPL certificate with a valid type rating and a 1st Class Medical certificate from ICAO.
• English proficiency at ICAO level 4 or above and eligibility for a UAE residency visa.
• Flown within the last 24 months and hold the B737-300 to 900 (NG/EFIS) endorsement within the past 24 months.
• At least 1,500 total flying hours, with a minimum of 500 hours on B737-300 to 900 (NG/EFIS) type aircraft.
• Strong knowledge of ATPL subjects, excellent CRM skills, and proven leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, perform at a high standard under stress, and demonstrate proven command ability and experience.
