Job summary

Al Shahba Engineering Safety & Security Co. LLC (SESSCO) in the UAE is seeking a full-time Pipe Fitter – Fire Fighting for on-site work to install, assemble and maintain fire piping systems.

The role requires reading and interpreting technical drawings, performing TIG welding where required, and following safety, quality, and HSE procedures on construction sites. You will inspect pipelines, test for leaks and performance, coordinate with supervisors and other technicians, and document all work

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and layouts.
• Welding skills relevant to fire fighting pipe systems, including TIG.
• Knowledge of UAE fire fighting systems, valves, fittings, and standards.
• Relevant certification or diploma is preferred.
• Ability to work safely on construction sites, follow HSE procedures.
• Experience in UAE or GCC fire fighting or mechanical piping projects is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble and maintain fire fighting piping systems according to drawings.
• Cut, thread and join pipes; perform welding as required.
• Prepare materials and tools for installation at project sites.
• Inspect and test pipelines for leaks and performance.
• Coordinate with supervisors and technicians; document work performed.
• Support troubleshooting, repairs and routine maintenance.
