Job summary

SEGULA Technologies is seeking a Fire Fighting & Plumbing Technical Engineer to support mechanical engineering activities for a major High-Speed Rail project.

The role focuses on preparing and reviewing firefighting and plumbing technical documentation, coordinating fire protection systems, and ensuring NFPA/UAE compliance. Experience with NFPA standards and AutoCAD is preferred, with railway/infrastructure exposure valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Relevant experience in firefighting and plumbing technical engineering is required.
• Knowledge of hydraulic calculations, firefighting networks, and plumbing systems.
• Experience with NFPA standards and UAE requirements.
• Railway depot, metro, HSR, airport, or major infrastructure experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MEP technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review firefighting and plumbing technical documentation.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, calculations, and method statements.
• Coordinate fire protection systems, water supply, drainage, and plumbing services.
• Support engineering interfaces with civil, architectural, and other MEP disciplines.
• Resolve technical queries and support construction teams.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA requirements, applicable UAE regulations, and project specifications.
• Support testing and commissioning documentation.
