Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to design and build secure mobile banking experiences using React Native and web front-end tech. You will collaborate with product, UX, architecture, and backend teams to deliver scalable digital journeys across mobile and web platforms.

The role emphasizes high availability, secure coding, and regulatory compliance, with strong focus on API-driven integration and DevSecOps practices within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in front-end engineering with at least 3 years in React Native development.
• Banking, financial services, digital channels, internet banking, mobile banking, or fintech experience is required.
• Experience delivering customer-facing applications with high availability, security, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of API-driven architecture, microservices, secure authentication, and enterprise-grade integration patterns.
• Experience working in large-scale Agile and DevOps environments.
• Knowledge of mobile security, certificate pinning, OWASP Mobile Top 10, and secure SDLC practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance mobile banking applications using React Native.
• Develop responsive web applications and customer-facing digital journeys using React.js and modern front-end frameworks.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, UX/UI designers, architects, and backend teams to deliver seamless digital banking experiences.
• Integrate front-end applications with APIs, microservices, OAuth/OIDC authentication, and enterprise middleware platforms.
• Ensure compliance with banking security standards, secure coding practices, and accessibility requirements.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, responsiveness, and user experience across mobile and web channels.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
