Job description

• Install and finish woodwork:Install interior and exterior trim, molding, and millwork, such as baseboards, crown molding, and casings around doors and windows.
• Fit and install components:Fit and install doors, door frames, and door hardware.
• Build and install cabinetry:Construct and install custom or standard cabinetry and built-in furniture.
• Read blueprints:Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications and designs.
• Use tools and equipment:Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and precisely to measure, cut, and shape wood.
• Ensure quality and aesthetics:Ensure all work meets high standards of craftsmanship, aesthetics, and functionality.
• Collaborate with other trades:Work with electricians, plumbers, and other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of finishing work.
• Finish surfaces:Fill joints, nail indentations, and cracks with joint compound to prepare surfaces for finishing.
• Problem-solve:Address unexpected challenges and find effective solutions to deliver the desired finish.
