Job summary

Gulf News is seeking a finishing carpenter to measure, cut, shape and install wood and other materials. The role also involves constructing and repairing doors, cabinets, furniture, partitions, and wooden fixtures, and reading and interpreting basic drawings and work instructions.

You will use hand tools and power tools safely, perform carpentry for new installations and maintenance, inspect finished work for alignment and quality, carry out repairs, maintain tools, and follow health and safety
