Job summary

Julphar in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Finished Product & Stability Team Leader to manage the QC finished products and stability team, ensure regulatory compliance, lead inspections, audits, data analysis and staff training.

The role requires overseeing SOPs, SAP data entry, CAPA and OOS investigations, coordinating with Production, and guiding analysts to maintain GMP/GLP standards in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in QC/QA.
• Experience in managing complex and sensitive operational challenges.
• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy.
• Proven experience in quality control, having leadership skills.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards relevant to the industry.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise the QC finished products and stability team, ensuring online compliance.
• Operate QC instruments and equipment as required by the section.
• Adhere to GLP, GMP and safety procedures in the lab.
• Enter, review, and verify test data in the SAP system.
• Prepare, review, and update SOPs for finished product and stability testing and inspection.
• Coordinate with Production plants for planning analysis and technology transfer projects.
• Supervise analysts to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion.
• Oversee release or rejection of finished products and stability in SAP.
• Coach, guide and train the team to maintain high competency.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Ensure adherence to industry regulations and current cGMP requirements.
• Follow cGMP principles and maintain premises, personnel, equipment, documentation and QMS.
• Check proper usage of QC premises and equipment.
• Train QC personnel on procedures, specifications, and testing methods.
• Investigate lab incidents, OOS, OOL, deviations; implement CAPAs and corrective actions.
• Follow up and close eQMS actions (CAPA, OOS, Deviations, CC).
• Support audits and close audit observations on time.
• Handle QMS actions using Amplelogic system.
• Maintain data integrity and good documentation practices in QC labs.
• Adhere to GLP, GMP and safety procedures in lab and maintain hygienic conditions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Head of department.
