Job summary

Socium - Teams Done Differently seeks an experienced Financial Modelling Consultant for a short-term Dubai engagement. You will build a comprehensive end-to-end financial model from scratch, including CAPEX/OPEX, revenue forecasting, and sensitivity analysis, with auditable outputs.

The role requires immediate availability and UAE visa status holders only, with a hybrid on-site pattern at DIFC. The ideal candidate has expert Excel and financial modelling skills, a strong commercial mindset, and

Qualifications

• Expert-level Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Proven experience building complex financial models from scratch.
• Experience across CAPEX, OPEX, revenue forecasting and scenario/sensitivity analysis.
• Background in financial advisory, project finance, FP&A or business case modelling would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build a fully functional end-to-end financial model from scratch.
• Cover CAPEX and OPEX modelling, revenue projections and forecasting.
• Perform sensitivity and scenario analyses, and document key assumptions.
• Produce clear, auditable model outputs for the client.
• Collaborate with client teams; work in a hybrid Dubai-based setup.
• Start ASAP; duration 5 weeks; Dubai DIFC, hybrid 3 days onsite.

Job description

We’re looking for an experienced Financial Modelling Consultant to support a short-term project for a client in Dubai.

The consultant’s primary responsibility will be to build a fully functional, end-to-end financial model from scratch, covering:

• CAPEX and OPEX modelling
• RATEX / rate assumptions
• Revenue projections and forecasting
• Sensitivity analysis
• Key financial and operational assumptions
• Clear, dynamic and auditable model outputs

Requirements:

• Expert-level Excel and financial modelling skills
• Proven experience building complex financial models from scratch
• Strong experience across CAPEX, OPEX, revenue forecasting and scenario/sensitivity analysis
• Strong commercial and financial acumen
• Experience in financial advisory, project finance, FP&A, business case modelling or similar
• Big 4 / consulting / financial advisory background is highly desirable
• Higher education / university sector experience would be advantageous
• Must be able to start ASAP
• Must already hold their own valid UAE visa – visa sponsorship cannot be provided
• Location: DIFC, Dubai
• Setup: Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite
• Contract Duration: 5 weeks to start with
• Start Date: ASAP

This is a highly hands-on engagement, so we’re particularly interested in candidates who have personally owned the development of sophisticated Excel financial models rather than primarily working with or maintaining existing models.
