voco Dubai Palm The Palm is conveniently located on the trunk of the manmade island while being part of the newly launched “Palm West Beach”, a trendy and vibrant spot with an array of exceptional dining concepts.

Your day to day
  • Prepare monthly statements by collecting data; analysing and investigating variances; summarizing data, information, and trends.
  • Prepare and review the Balance Sheet reconciliation
  • Implement and drive the internal audit procedures within the hotel
  • Respond to financial inquiries by gathering, analysing, summarizing, and interpreting data.
  • Provide financial advice by studying operational issues; applying financial principles and practices; developing recommendations.
  • Prepare and submit the Rolling Forecast, Month end Financial data through EFPM to EMEA as per the due dates.
  • To prepare and submit the monthly financial report for Ownco.
  • To guide all the accounts staff on accounting standards and procedures.
  • To prepare all monthly financial reports (cost control, bank reconciliation, etc.), cash reports and miscellaneous reports.
  • To spot check inventory counts.
  • To prepare bank reconciliation statements. Prepare the Balance Sheet.
  • Make accruals of the Open Purchase Order Report from MC system before the month end.
  • Update job knowledge by keeping current with financial regulations and IHG's policies and procedures.
  • To understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees’ Code of Conduct and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
  • To promote efficiency, confidence, courtesy and an extremely high standard of social skills.
  • To generally promote and ensure good inter-departmental relations.
  • Assist Finance and Business support Manager for presentation and chair meetings in his absence
What we need from you
  • 5 years related experience including at least 2 years in same capacity
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to communicate
  • Experience & ability to develop leading strategies to drive for best results.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • High level of common sense and high skill of problem solving, reasoning, organizational and decision making
  • Drive for results to outperform competition
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Degree from a university in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
  • A naturally outgoing and friendly personality with a passion for service excellence to consistently deliver and demonstrate voco™ service standards
  • A true “team-player” mentality and flexible attitude towards a diverse set of tasks
