Job summary

Tabby is seeking an Internal Audit Lead to own end-to-end audits across finance, treasury and financial risk in the UAE. The role requires deep knowledge of IFRS, CBUAE regulation and strong data analytics to deliver risk-based insights.

You will independently plan, execute and report audits, challenge controls, and drive remediation while communicating with senior management. A background in fintech or financial services and fluency in English are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in internal audit, external audit or financial control within banking, fintech or financial services environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
• Certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CA, CIA, or CISA (or actively pursuing) are strongly preferred.
• Fluency in English and strong knowledge of IFRS and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver end-to-end audits across finance, treasury and financial risk processes.
• Plan risk-based audits through scoping, execution and reporting with high-quality conclusions.
• Evaluate compliance with IFRS, CBUAE regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Review treasury frameworks, cash management, FX exposure and hedging strategies.
• Apply data analytics to identify anomalies, risks and control weaknesses.
• Provide clear audit findings and practical recommendations to senior management.
