Job summary

A leading renewable energy company in Abu Dhabi seeks a Financial Accountant to oversee financial transactions, ensure compliance with IFRS, and engage in auditing processes. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, along with at least 8 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills are essential. This full-time role emphasizes attention to detail and effective communication.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in similar accounting responsibilities.
• Experience with statutory accounting preferred.
• Knowledge in IFRIC 12, IFRS 16 and IAS 16 is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial transactions and ensure compliance with IFRS.
• Review monthly trial balance and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
• Prepare quarterly reporting packs and liaise with auditors.
