Qualifications

• 5–8 years in finance operations (FinTech, PropTech, Real Estate, or FS).
• Strong knowledge of accounting, reconciliations, VAT, and inter-company accounting.
• Proven leadership managing small teams and multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting for OpCos and SPVs.
• Oversee bank reconciliations and payment vs. invoice matching.
• Prepare and file VAT and Corporate Tax returns per UAE regulations.
• Lead and mentor a team of 2, driving accuracy and efficiency.

The Finance Team

We are seeking a Finance Operations Lead to manage financial operations across our property portfolio and group operating companies.

What you’ll do:

The role requires expertise in accounting, reconciliations, payments, compliance, and controls, along with strong leadership to guide a small team. You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across 400+ SPVs and OpCos.

This is a hands-on role hence your responsibilities will include:

Financial Operations and Accounting

• Manage end-to-end accounting for OpCos and SPVs
• Oversee bank reconciliations and payment vs. invoice matching
• Supervise inter-company transactions and reimbursements
• Maintain property-level cash flow, expense, and distribution records

Compliance and Reporting

• Prepare and file VAT and Corporate Tax returns per UAE regulations
• Manage DEWS contributions and ensure DIFC compliance
• Support audits with reconciliations and documentation
• Ensure adherence to financial policies and controls

Payments and Controls

• Oversee all payments (vendors, property expenses, customer payouts)
• Implement approval workflows and strengthen financial controls
• Monitor cash positions and liquidity across entities

Stakeholder Management

• Respond to customer queries on payments and reconciliations
• Collaborate with internal teams (operations, real estate, marketing)
• Act as key contact for banks and financial partners

Team and Projects

• Lead and mentor a team of 2, driving accuracy and efficiency
• Deliver finance projects including automation and system improvements
• Enhance processes to support scalability and growth

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance; CPA/ACCA/CA preferred
• 5–8 years in finance operations (FinTech, PropTech, Real Estate, or FS)
• Strong knowledge of accounting, reconciliations, VAT, and inter-company accounting
• Proficient in ERP/accounting systems and Excel/Google Sheets
• Proven leadership managing small teams and multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
