Job summary

STRAGO International is seeking a senior Finance Manager to lead the accounts function for a leading international manufacturer of engineered systems. The role owns banking, cash reporting, and compliance for the UAE operation and collaborates closely with the parent company's corporate finance team.

The candidate will supervise accounts payable/receivable, bank facilities, and financial reporting, driving month‑end closes, cash forecasting, and audit coordination.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in a senior accounts/finance role
• Proven experience leading an accounts team and interfacing with parent company corporate finance
• Strong banking and trade finance knowledge (LCs, guarantees, bonds) and internal controls
• Hands-on ERP experience and annual physical inventory planning and counts
• English required; Arabic and/or Hindi a plus, driving licence preferred

Responsibilities

Job description

STRAGO International is recruiting a Finance Manager for a leading international manufacturer of engineered systems. This is a senior management role. You will lead the accounts function and take full ownership of banking cash reporting and compliance for the local operation working closely with the parent companys corporate finance team.

The Role

• Lead develop and motivate the accounts team supervising accounts payable accounts receivable banking audit and administration so that objectives are met on budget and on schedule.
• Manage banking and trade finance relationships including bank facilities Letters of Credit guarantees bonds and trust receipts as well as project financing activity in Saudi Arabia.
• Control supplier payments payroll verification corporate credit cards supplier deposits and employee advances with rigorous cash management throughout.
• Oversee receivables and collections the receivables budget and cash forecasting resolving payment issues directly with customers where needed.
• Run the month-end close bank and general ledger reconciliations trial balance review and financial reporting including the weekly cash report to corporate and the information the division and corporate controllers need for external reporting.
• Coordinate external tax and SOX audits through to finalisation and manage import insurance.
• Act as the finance lead on ERP providing on-the-job training and supporting the migration to a new global ERP platform.

The Candidate

• CA CPA CMA/CWA or a Bachelors degree in Accounting.
• 10 years of experience ideally in a similar role within a manufacturing business.
• Proven experience leading an accounts team and acting as the main point of contact with a parent companys corporate finance function.
• Strong banking and trade finance knowledge (LCs guarantees bonds) plus a solid grounding in internal controls audit and SOX compliance.
• Hands-on ERP experience and experience planning and running annual physical inventory counts.
• English is essential. Arabic and/or Hindi are a plus and a driving licence is preferred.
