Job summary

OCA Global UAE, part of the international OCA Global group, is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager & Business Controller to oversee UAE finance and accounting activities. You will work closely with the Country Manager, Operations and the Spain HQ finance team to ensure compliant reporting and strong financial performance.

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasts, cost control, IFRS 15 revenue recognition, VAT and corporate tax compliance, as well as ERP data integrity and intercompany

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including 5 UAE years.
• Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance and ACCA, CMA, CPA or CA.
• Experience in TIC/oil & gas/EPC/technical consultancy projects.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS 15, UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Advanced Excel and hands-on ERP experience; Odoo/Power BI an edge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day accounting with local and HQ teams and ensure timely IFRS reporting.
• Manage budgets, rolling forecasts, EBIT and variance analyses for projects.
• Review costs, WIP/unbilled revenue and IFRS 15 revenue recognition.
• Drive collections, monitor receivables and cash flow forecasts.
• Oversee supplier and payroll accounting, banking and controls.
• Coordinate UAE VAT, Corporate Tax compliance, audits and ICV docs.
• Maintain ERP data integrity, intercompany reconciliations and controls.
• Support pricing, contract financial reviews and management decisions.

OCA Global UAE is part of the international OCA Global group, providing Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) services across the oil & gas, energy, utilities and infrastructure sectors. We are seeking a hands-on Finance Manager & Business Controller to oversee our UAE finance and accounting activities, working closely with the Country Manager, Operations and our headquarters finance team in Spain.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day accounting activities with the local and headquarters teams, ensuring timely monthly and annual closing and accurate financial reporting in line with IFRS and group policies.
• Manage budgets, rolling forecasts, EBIT and variance analysis, and project and division profitability.
• Review project costs, WIP/unbilled revenue and revenue recognition under IFRS 15; coordinate timely, accurate invoicing with Operations.
• Drive collections, coordinate resolution of billing disputes, monitor receivables ageing and maintain cash flow forecasts.
• Oversee supplier and payroll accounting, banking activities and payment controls.
• Coordinate UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, external audits and ICV certification documentation.
• Maintain ERP data integrity, intercompany reconciliations and internal controls.
• Support pricing, contract financial reviews and management decisions.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including 5 years of practical UAE experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and a professional qualification: ACCA, CMA, CPA or CA.
• Experience in project-based sectors, ideally TIC, oil & gas services, EPC contracting or technical consultancy.
• Strong practical knowledge of IFRS 15, UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Advanced Excel and hands-on ERP experience. Odoo and Power BI experience are advantages.
• Strong teamwork, communication and coordination skills, with the ability to organise work and follow through on deadlines.
