Job summary

NES Fircroft in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Finance Manager with extensive experience in financial leadership within the oil and gas sector. You will oversee administrative and financial services, ensure statutory compliance, and manage financial reporting for the Head Office and foreign branches.

The role requires at least 10 years in finance/administration, 3–5 years of leadership experience, and strong ERP/Excel skills. Short-term travel and fluent English are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in administrative and financial roles.
• 3–5 years in leading positions with team management.
• Willingness for short-term travel to foreign offices.
• Fluent knowledge of English required.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and organize the company’s administrative, accounting and financial services.
• Ensure UAE tax, VAT and local statutory compliance in coordination with external advisors.
• Manage tax deadlines, accounting closures and annual financial statements.
• Oversee quarterly accounting closures and prepare financial reporting packages for Head Office.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital and liquidity of the Abu Dhabi branch.
• Support automation and digitalization of group administrative processes.
• Enforce internal control systems, segregation of duties and approval matrices.
• Contribute to design and implementation of governance models and controls.
• Act as finance point of contact with banks, auditors and tax authorities.
• Supervise administrative, accounting and tax services of foreign branches.

Role: Finance Manager

Location: Abu Dhabi

Assignment Duration:6 Months

• Organization and coordination of the company's administrative, accounting and financial services,
• Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax, VAT and other applicable local statutory requirements, coordinating with external tax advisors where required.
• Management of tax deadlines, accounting closures and preparation of the annual financial statements.
• Management of quarterly accounting closures. Preparation and review of periodic financial reporting packages for Head Office.
• Management of company control and project cost control.
• Monitoring of cash flow, working capital and liquidity position of the Abu Dhabi Branch.
• Implementation of group administrative processes and related procedures, also through the development of requirements for their automation and digitalization.
• Ensure implementation and enforcement of internal control systems, segregation of duties and approval matrices.
• Support in the design and implementation of corporate governance systems and models.
• Act as primary finance point of contact with banks, external auditors, tax authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Supervision of the administrative, accounting and tax services of the foreign branches.

Education Bachelor economic university education.

Experience Previous experience of at least 10 years in the administrative and financial area, with at least 3 to 5 years in leading positions with responsibility to manage a team

Mandatory Competencies

• Availability for any short-term trips to foreign offices is required.

• Fluent knowledge of the English language

• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, financial reporting tools and advanced Excel
