Job summary

CD Horizon United Arab Emirates is seeking a motivated Finance & Tax Intern to gain hands-on experience in VAT invoicing, tax compliance, and accounting operations within a dynamic UAE business environment. You will work closely with the finance team, support daily tasks, and contribute to audits and annual reviews while developing practical skills and professional software proficiency.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, or a closely related field.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP). Familiarity with any accounting software is a significant plus.
• Meticulous attention to detail, a strong sense of responsibility, and a proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to commit to a full-time internship (5 days per week) for a minimum period of 3 months.
• Ideal candidate must have freelance / spouse / parent visa.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the end-to-end process of VAT invoicing, including issuance, verification, and management to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Support the preparation of materials and documentation for timely tax filings and other compliance-related tasks.
• Contribute to the preparation of basic financial reports and assist with data analysis to support decision-making.
• Provide crucial support during the annual audit and internal reviews by preparing necessary documentation and schedules.
• Perform a variety of other ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks as assigned by the finance manager.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance & Tax Intern to join our team.
