Core Responsibilities
- Define and execute the finance strategy ensuring alignment with corporate vision and long-term objectives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership providing data-driven insights to guide business growth and profitability.
- Build and mentor a top-tier finance team fostering a culture of excellence, accountability and continuous development.
- Drive talent initiatives to cultivate future-ready finance professionals.
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning processes.
- Monitor financial KPIs, identify trends and implement corrective actions to ensure fiscal discipline.
- Optimize working capital through proactive cash flow, receivables and payables strategies.
- Ensure flawless financial reporting under IFRS and local regulatory standards.
- Oversee tax strategy, VAT compliance and statutory filings.
- Champion the adoption and optimization of SAP Finance modules to enhance automation and efficiency.
- Strengthen relationships with banks, auditors, regulators and internal stakeholders to align financial operations with business needs.
- Develop and enforce robust financial policies, risk frameworks and internal controls.
- Deliver precise actionable financial reports to executives and board members.
- Translate complex financial data into strategic insights to guide executive decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) preferred.
- 10 years in finance within large corporate environments, ideally within construction, engineering or related sectors.
- Strong expertise in IFRS, tax compliance, ERP systems (preferably SAP), and financial digitalization.
- A strategic thinker who balances big-picture oversight with hands-on operational execution.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record in process optimization and team development.
