Job summary

Caliberly seeks an experienced Finance Controller Trade Finance to support the financial operations of a global commodity trading business in Dubai. The role focuses on managing the financial execution of trading transactions and optimizing trade finance solutions.

You will oversee banking relationships, structuring facilities, working capital governance, and risk management across international trading operations, collaborating with Trading, Treasury, Logistics and Banking partners.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA), CFA or MBA in Finance is required.
• 10–15 years of overall finance experience.
• Minimum 5 years in commodity trading finance or trade finance.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end financial execution of commodity trading transactions across metals, minerals and other traded commodities.
• Coordinate with Trading, Treasury, Logistics, Operations, Customers and Banking partners to ensure seamless settlement and funding.
• Oversee timely payments, collections and financing activities throughout the trade lifecycle.
• Structure and manage trade finance instruments including LCs, SBLCs, bank guarantees and supplier/buyer financing.
• Monitor working capital and optimize treasury, liquidity, and risk exposure across global trading operations.
