Job summary

Pinnacle DXB is seeking an Application Engineer to build web apps for finance users within the Finance Automation Program. You'll develop dashboards, forms, admin pages and secure APIs connecting to ERP, Databricks and AI tooling.

Requirements include 4–7 years full-stack experience, strong React or Angular, backend in Node.js/.NET/Java/Python, REST APIs, SQL and RBAC/secure coding. Onsite in Dubai or remote; 2–3 week hiring timeline.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of full-stack development
• Strong React or Angular
• Backend in Node.js, .NET, Java or Python
• REST APIs and system integration
• Strong SQL and database design
• Authentication, authorisation and secure coding
• Git and CI/CD; has delivered at least 2 production applications
• Finance or enterprise workflow app experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Build the frontend in React or Angular: forms, dashboards, approval screens, exception queues and admin pages
• Build backend services and REST APIs in Node.js, .NET, Java or Python
• Integrate with the ERP, Databricks, SharePoint, Teams and AI automation tools
• Implement secure login with SSO (OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect) and role-based access control
• Design database tables, stored procedures and queries
• Add validation, error handling and audit logging
• Write automated tests and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Support deployments, monitoring and production fixes
