Job summary

DG Capital in Dubai's Business Bay invites a Finance Assistant to support day-to-day accounting, month-end close, and tax compliance across the group. You will report to the Finance Manager and interact with suppliers and internal teams.

The role requires UAE accounting experience, professional English, and hands-on use of QuickBooks; immediate availability is preferred. A bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance is required, with ACCA/CA as a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• At least 1 year of accounting experience in the UAE is a must.
• Solid knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Excellent communication and ability to meet deadlines.
• ACCA or CA qualification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sales invoices and receipts and perform daily bank reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable; liaise with suppliers.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and trackers.
• Assist with month-end closing and account reconciliations.
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documents for external audits.
• Support VAT reconciliations, VAT return preparation, and corporate tax compliance.

Job Title: Finance Assistant - Finance Department

Location: Dubai, Business Bay, UAE

We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our growing team at DG Capital. You will work closely with our Finance Manager, supporting day-to-day accounting, month-end closing and tax compliance across the group.

What you will do

• Prepare sales invoices and receipts, and carry out daily bank reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable (AP) and receivable (AR), and liaise with suppliers on invoices, payments and outstanding balances.
• Keep accounting records, supporting documents and financial trackers accurate and up to date.
• Assist with month-end closing, account reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documents for external audits.
• Support VAT reconciliations, VAT return preparation and Corporate Tax compliance.

What we are looking for

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• At least 1 year of accounting experience in the UAE is a must!
• Good working knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to organise your workload, communicate clearly and meet deadlines.
