Responsibilities / Tasks
- Handle Service and Commissioning for High speed rotating equipment like Separators and Decanters with specific focus on decanter Mechanical service.
 
- Must be able to demonstrate a strong working background in Mechanical maintenance, ideally with knowledge of Separation & Homogenization equipment and basic electrical / Automation Knowledge would be beneficial.
 
- Previous industry background could include Dairy, Food processing, Edible oil, wastewater, PowerStation or marine. Exposure to GEA core equipment would be advantageous.
 
- Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair on designated GEA products — Separators, decanters, Homogenizers, Valves, and pumps.
 
- Manage commissioning / coordination of plants for all GEA Mechanical equipment products.
 
- Commissioning and service activities in the entire sales territory of the First party as and when required – should be willing for extensive travel across the region.
 
- Completing preventive maintenance and field modifications.
 
- Manage claim processing for the customer.
 
- Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as customer service logs / reports and internal service records in timely manner.
 
- Maintaining daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up.
 
- Supporting and advising customers with respect to upkeep of their assets and proper use of equipment.
 
- Prepare spare parts recommended lists and spare parts sales when requested.
 
- Ensuring adherence to Health and Safety protocols and standards as per the client and GEA's requirement.
 
- Utilizing the escalation process to resolve technical issues.
 
- Identifying and participating in sales opportunities such as spare parts etc. Promote services when requested by the Company
 
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in separation and homogenization equipment.
 
- Basic understanding of electrical and automation systems is a plus.
 
- Previous experience in industries such as Dairy, Food Processing, Edible Oil, Wastewater Treatment, Power Stations, or Marine is desirable.
 
- Hands-on experience with GEA core equipment is highly advantageous.
 
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
 
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
 
- Willingness to travel extensively across the Middle East region.
