Job summary

A leading energy services firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Electrical Engineer to manage site preparations and service activities, including testing and commissioning. Candidates should have a degree in Electrical Engineering, 3 to 5 years of experience, and technical knowledge of LV systems and protection relays. A driving license is required. Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities

• Manage preparation of the job prior going to site.
• Prepare Method Statement.
• Service activity at site including test & commissioning.
• Provide training to clients.
• Participate at FAT in the factory.

Skills

Technical knowledge of LV switchgear system

Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Technical knowledge in intelligent protection relays (MICOM, GE, ABB)

Familiar with primary & secondary injection kit (Omicron kit)

Knowledge in PLC and automation

Responsibilities

• Manage preparation of the job prior going to site
• Prepare Method Statement
• Service activity at site or at workshop including but not limited to: Test & commissioning, maintenance, modification, retrofit, replacement
• Provide training to clients
• Participate at FAT in the factory
• Service report: Time sheet approved and signed by client, Non Conformity Report, Activity report, and follow internal and site health & safety procedures

QHSE

• Use and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Maintain cleanliness, storage in premises and offices available
• Follow site‑specific safety instructions
• Follow the rules quality, hygiene, safety and environment in everyday life
• Apply company procedures and instructions
• Alert the manager in case of detection of problems that could lead to a risk of work accidents or non‑conformity

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering OR
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position. Experience with international companies will be preferable
• Driving License required
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc…) and Google suite
• O&G, Power, process industries business, Nuclear.
• Technical knowledge of LV switchgear system
• Technical knowledge in intelligent protection relays (MICOM, GE, ABB,…) & motor protection relay
• Familiar with primary & secondary injection kit (Omicron kit) and equipment testing tool (EKIP, etc)
• Technical knowledge of MV system is an advantage
• Knowledge in PLC and automation is an advantage
• Technical knowledge in VSD & Soft starter is an advantage
