Job summary

Harmattan AI in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a Forward Deployed Software Engineer to design, build, and deploy mission-critical software for partner forces. You will work closely with partner teams to translate real-world needs into practical, field-ready solutions, then integrate them with our core platform and ship quickly.

The role requires strong Python and lower-level language skills, plus experience deploying on Linux in demanding environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years shipping production software in Python and a lower-level language.
• Experience defining end-to-end systems from requirements to deployed solutions.
• Comfort deploying on Linux in field/operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and build end-to-end software solutions for partners from architecture to deployment.
• Integrate interfaces between platforms and partner systems and validate data flows.
• Deploy on site, gather operator feedback, and iterate rapidly.
• Collaborate with platform team to fold durable solutions back into the product.
• Debug live operational issues and document learnings.
• Foster strong client relationships with technical teams and users.
