Job summary

Ventures Middle East is seeking a Field Supervisor to oversee fieldwork for market research studies. You will recruit, train, and manage field staff, ensuring data collection meets quality standards, timelines, and budget.

You will monitor interviewers and mystery shoppers, conduct pilot interviews, review documentation, and report progress to the Project Manager. Training and ongoing guidance are essential to meet project objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Statistics.
• 2–4 years experience in a market research agency.
• Arabic is mandatory; Fluency in English.
• Proven experience in market research, data quality control, or a related role.
• Problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent knowledge of research methodologies and data collection techniques.

Responsibilities

• Manage the pool of interviewers and mystery shoppers and recruit as needed to meet fieldwork targets.
• Conduct pilot interviews and report findings to the Project Manager/Operations Manager.
• Ensure field teams receive adequate training and understand project objectives, methodology, questionnaire, and fieldwork requirements.
• Review and inspect project documents to ensure accuracy and alignment with the questionnaire/script and requirements.
• Monitor fieldwork activities and report any issues to the Field Manager/Operations Manager.
• Monitor interviewer and mystery shopper performance for quality and adherence to methodology.
• Provide feedback to interviewers and shoppers to maintain required quality standards.
• Assist in quality control and validation processes, reviewing completed interviews/visits for issues.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, field status, targets, challenges, and needs.
• Conduct field visits when required to support continuity of fieldwork.
• Prepare quota sheets and allocation plans for interviewers/shoppers and follow up on implementation.
• Ensure fieldwork follows approved methodology, timelines, quotas, and quality standards.
• Support the Field Manager in achieving targets within timelines while maintaining quality.
