Job summary

Sika in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance for admixture plants and support Powder & Resin plants. You will execute PM activities, attend breakdowns, inspect equipment, and report issues to ensure the availability of critical spares.

The role requires an ITI/ Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation, 0–2 years of experience, basic knowledge of plant equipment, and a willingness to work in shifts.

Qualifications

• ITI/ Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation.
• 0–2 years of maintenance experience or fresh graduates with relevant training.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or plant equipment.
• Understanding of PTW and LOTO safety practices is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for admixture plants and support Powder & Resin plants.
• Execute PM activities, attend breakdowns, and support RCA/CAPA actions.
• Inspect equipment, report issues, and ensure availability of critical spares.
• Support shift work and emergency maintenance when required.
• Support installation, commissioning, and modification works.
• Ensure contractor safety compliance and proper permit processes.
• Participate in Kaizen and improvement initiatives.
• Maintain 5S standards across assigned areas.

Job Description

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Follow all workplace safety standards and report incidents or near misses.
• Adhere to WI/SOPs and ensure safe work throughPermit to Work (PTW), Hot Work Permit (HWP), andLOTO (Lockout/Tagout)
• Maintain good housekeeping across all work areas.

Systems & Processes

• Follow maintenance procedures and maintain accurate records, checklists, and logs.
• Support spare parts management and ensure compliance documentation is updated.

Maintenance Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for admixture plants and support Powder & Resin plants.

Technical Skills

• Experience in electrical, instrumentation, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Basic mechanical and plumbing knowledge with troubleshooting capability.
