Job summary

Sika in Dubai is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the Repair / Maintenance team. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance for admixture plants and support Powder & Resin plants, ensuring equipment availability and safety compliance.

You will follow PM procedures, maintain logs, assist with spare parts, and respond to breakdowns and emergencies. The role requires basic technical knowledge, willingness to learn, and the ability to work in shifts as part of a collaborative

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma inElectrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or plant equipment.
• Understanding of PTW and LOTO is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team.
• Basic troubleshooting skills and ability to handle routine maintenance tasks.
• Flexibility to work in shifts and support emergency maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for admixture plants and support Powder & Resin plants.
• Execute PM activities, attend breakdowns, and support RCA/CAPA actions.
• Inspect equipment, report issues, and ensure availability of critical spares.
• Support shift work and emergency maintenance when required.
• Follow maintenance procedures and maintain records, logs, and checklists.
• Support installation, commissioning, and modification works; ensure contractor safety compliance.

Job Description

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Follow all workplace safety standards and report incidents or near misses.
• Adhere to WI/SOPs and ensure safe work throughPermit to Work (PTW), Hot Work Permit (HWP), andLOTO (Lockout/Tagout)
• Maintain good housekeeping across all work areas.

Systems & Processes

• Follow maintenance procedures and maintain accurate records, checklists, and logs.
• Support spare parts management and ensure compliance documentation is updated.

Maintenance Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for admixture plants and support Powder & Resin plants.
• Execute PM activities, attend breakdowns, and support RCA/CAPA actions.

Projects & MOC

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation
• 0–2 years of experience in maintenance or fresh graduates with relevant technical training
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or plant equipment
• Understanding of safety practices such as PTW and LOTO is an advantage
• Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and work in a team environment
• Basic troubleshooting skills and ability to handle routine maintenance tasks
• Flexibility to work in shifts and support emergency maintenance when required

Technical Skills

• Experience in electrical, instrumentation, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Basic mechanical and plumbing knowledge with troubleshooting capability.
