Job summary

AECOM Middle East Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Land Surveyor to support road and infrastructure projects in Dubai.

The role emphasizes precise field surveying, verification of coordinates and levels, and coordination with contractors, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate construction delivery. You will contribute to setting-out, topographic surveys, as-built documentation, and quality records while adhering to UAE standards and QA/QC procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of professional surveying experience on roads and infrastructure projects.
• Strong background in construction site surveying and verification of contractor work.
• Experience with road alignments, utilities, structures and earthworks.

Responsibilities

• Review contract documents and drawings before field activities.
• Establish and maintain horizontal and vertical control points and benchmarks.
• Coordinate with contractor surveyors to confirm control data and layout.
• Check setting-out for roads, structures, utilities and chambers.
• Verify alignments, coordinates, elevations and tolerances against drawings.
• Inspect utility installations and verify positions and levels.
• Carry out as-built surveys and document field data for records.
• Support engineers in resolving survey-related issues on site.
