Job summary

Tanqeeb in United Arab Emirates is seeking a skilled FICA Consultant to support the day-to-day operation and ongoing improvement of the FICA contract accounts landscape, underpinning premium billing and settlements. You will work with the FICA Expert to resolve posting issues and ensure clean financial operations during a fast-moving insurance finance environment.

The role involves configuration changes, testing, data corrections and collaboration with Finance, Operations, and Engineering teams

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or related discipline.
3+ years of experience in FICA, sub-ledger support or finance systems.
Experience with SAP FI-CA or equivalent high-volume sub-ledger.
Strong understanding of double-entry accounting and reconciliations.
Proficiency in SQL for data interrogation.
Experience in testing, release support and agile environments.

Responsibilities

Monitor FICA postings, document flows and contract account balances daily.
Investigate and resolve posting failures, open item mismatches and reconciliation breaks.
Support cash allocation, payment matching, dunning, write-offs and settlements.
Perform root-cause analysis and propose permanent fixes rather than workarounds.
Coordinate with engineering, product and vendors to resolve defects.
Prepare test cases for fixes and regression testing across postings.
