Apparel Group in Dubai seeks a fashion designer skilled in CAD to transform concepts into market-ready designs. You will stay current with fabrics, colours and shapes, plan ranges, and collaborate with buyers and forecasters to meet briefs.

You'll liaise with planning teams to ensure items align with customer needs, market trends and price points, while applying strong technical design understanding and a proactive, multitasking mindset.

Qualifications

• Proficient in CAD-based fashion design workflows.
• Strong understanding of trend forecasting for fabrics, colours and shapes.
• Experience collaborating with buyers, forecasters and planning teams.
• Ability to multitask with a proactive approach to design development.

Responsibilities

• Creating or visualizing ideas and producing a design using CAD.
• Well versed in Illustrator and Photoshop for designs.
• Keeping up to date with fashion trends and fabrics, colours and shapes.
• Planning and developing ranges.
• Working with buyers and forecasters to meet briefs.
• Liaising closely with buying and planning teams to ensure items fit customer, market and price points.
• Understanding design from a technical perspective.
