Job summary

Ajman University in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Instructional Designer and Faculty Developer to design and deliver engaging courses and professional development for faculty. You will apply ADDIE, SAM, and backward design to create learning outcomes, materials, and authentic assessments aligned with accreditation standards.

Collaborating with librarians, multimedia specialists and IT teams, you will run workshops in Arabic and English, review existing courses, collect feedback,

Qualifications

Designing and developing courses for higher education environments.
Ability to align programs with accreditation standards and best practices.
Experience delivering faculty development sessions in Arabic and English.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with faculty and subject matter experts to design and develop courses.
Apply ADDIE, SAM, and Backward Design to create structures, outcomes, and assessments.
Design and deliver workshops on pedagogy, learning theories, and assessment strategies.
Provide consultations and coaching on teaching practices and course development.
Review and enhance existing courses to align with best practices and inclusive teaching.
