Job summary

Loft Orbital Solutions in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Multiskilled Electrical Technician for our expanding Facilities Maintenance team at Orbitworks. This hands-on role supports the operational continuity and safety of our satellite manufacturing facility.

You will maintain and troubleshoot low-voltage electrical systems and HVAC equipment, respond to power outages, and work across electrical, mechanical and MEP tasks to keep the plant running at peak performance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
• 7 years of hands-on facilities or industrial maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution, UPS, LV generators, switchgear, HVAC, and basic mechanical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot low-voltage electrical systems including switchgear and UPS.
• Support HVAC systems including pumps, chillers, FCUs, AHUs and control panels.
• Respond to power anomalies with safe, rapid resolutions.
• Work with FAS and BMS as part of facility maintenance.
• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance independently.
• Be on-call for after-hours interventions as needed.

Were looking for aMultiskilled Electrical Technicianto join our growing Facilities Maintenance team at Orbitworks. This is ahands-on rolesupporting the operational continuity and safety of our satellite manufacturing facility.
Youll be responsible formaintaining troubleshooting and repairinga wide range of building and electrical systems from distribution boards and UPS units to HVAC equipment and chillers. Youll work independently acrosselectrical mechanical and MEP tasksto keep our facility running at peak performance.

About this role:

• Maintain and troubleshootlow-voltage electrical systems: switchgear wiring panels lighting and UPS units.
• SupportHVAC systems including motors pumps V-belt replacements chillers AHUs FCUs and associated control panels.
• Respond topower anomalies or outagesand ensure safe fast resolutions.
• Work withFAS and BMS systemsas part of facility-wide maintenance.
• Conduct bothpreventative and corrective maintenanceindependently.
• Be on-call forcritical after-hours interventions as needed.

Must Haves

• Diploma or certificationin Electrical Technology Industrial Maintenance or a related field.
• 7 years of hands-on experiencein facilities or industrial maintenance.
• Strong working knowledge of:
• Electrical distribution systems
• UPS LV Generators switchgear
• HVAC systems (including temperature monitoring & V-belts)
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting
• Able towork independently prioritize tasks and communicate clearly.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity withcleanroom environmentsand how HVAC impacts performance.
• Working knowledge ofFire Alarm Systems (FAS)andBuilding Management Systems (BMS).
• Experience inindustrial manufacturing or critical environments.
• Comfortable working across multiple trades (MEP-wide skills are a plus).
