Job summary

Gutmann Middle East in Dubai is seeking a skilled Façade Designer to lead the design and development of façade systems for iconic projects. You will develop solutions for aluminum and glazing systems and prepare detailed drawings for construction, fabrication and coordination.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in design/engineering and a minimum of seven years’ experience in façade design, with strong knowledge of SCW, UCW and UWW, plus AutoCAD 2D/3D proficiency; knowledge of Revit and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent design/engineering degree.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in façade design within the aluminum and glazing industry.
• Strong knowledge of façade systems: SCW, UCW, and UWW.
• AutoCAD 2D & 3D proficiency is a must.
• Knowledge of Revit and Inventor is a strong advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop façade design solutions for aluminum and glazing systems in line with project specifications and architectural intent.
• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D façade drawings for construction, fabrication and coordination purposes.
• Design and detail various façade systems including SCW, UCW, and UWW.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, façade engineers, architects and project managers to ensure design accuracy and constructability.
• Review design inputs, drawings and technical requirements to ensure compliance with project standards.
• Support value engineering, design optimization and technical problem-solving during different project stages.
• Assist in resolving design-related issues during fabrication and site execution.
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing control in accordance with company procedures.

We are hiring a highly capable Façade Designer to join our Dubai-based team.

The successful candidate shall play a key role in the design and development

of façade systems for iconic projects, working closely with engineering, project

management, and production teams.
