Job summary

Star Services LLC is seeking a skilled Fabricator for a full-time, temporary shutdown project. You will construct, assemble, and repair metal products to project specs in a fast-paced industrial environment, using welding, cutting, and bending techniques.

Read blueprints, measure layouts, and ensure quality while maintaining safety standards. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of fabrication experience, strong tool proficiency, and the ability to work overtime when required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience as a Fabricator in an industrial setting.
• Knowledge of fabrication techniques including welding, cutting, bending.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Familiar with safety procedures in industrial settings.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, tape measures, and marking tools.
• Cut, shape, and bend metal using hand and power tools.
• Weld, braze, or solder parts together using various welding techniques.
• Inspect and test completed products for quality and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and repair any issues with fabricated products.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations at all times.
