As the first point of contact for our guests, you will embody the warmth, elegance, and professionalism synonymous with the InterContinental brand. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring each dining experience begins with a seamless and memorable welcome, setting the tone for exceptional service in our luxury residence environment.

InterContinental Residences Dubai Business Bay is nestled in the heart of Dubai’s bustling business district, providing a sanctuary of tranquillity amidst the city’s vibrant landmarks. Located just moments from the iconic Dubai Mall and the awe‑inspiring Burj Khalifa, our property embodies the epitome of luxury and sophistication. With 176 meticulously designed residences, each offering unparalleled comfort and style, guests are immersed in a world of grandeur that reflects the timeless elegance and excellence of the InterContinental brand.

Your Day-to-Day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

Guest Experience & Engagement
  • Warmly welcoming guests upon arrival, escorting them to their tables, and ensuring a smooth seating process.
  • Anticipating guest needs with a gracious and attentive approach in line with Forbes Five‑Star service standards.
  • Providing accurate information about menus, daily specials, and ongoing promotions.
  • Maintaining an exceptional level of communication with the F&B and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Operational Excellence
  • Managing reservations and table allocations to optimise seating and service flow.
  • Handling guest inquiries, special requests, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the hostess stand and dining areas at all times.
  • Supporting the F&B team during peak hours to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Brand & Service Standards
  • Upholding IHG’s and Forbes Five‑Star luxury service standards with every guest interaction.
  • Maintaining an immaculate personal appearance and professional demeanour.
  • Demonstrating strong product knowledge and an understanding of the property’s amenities and offerings.
What We Need from You
Qualifications & Experience
  • Previous experience as a hostess or in a similar guest‑facing role within a luxury or five‑star hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge or prior experience working within Forbes Five‑Star service standards is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to multitask effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using reservation and POS systems.
Preferred
  • Diploma or certification in hospitality or related field.
  • Experience in a Forbes Five‑Star or luxury hotel/residence.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus (Arabic, Russian, French, or Mandarin preferred).
