Overview

Large, luxury Hotel in Dubai is looking for a F&B Hostess.

The suitable candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere by greeting guests, managing seating and ensuring a positive first impression. Their role is crucial for organizing the outlet flow, from seating guests and managing waitlists to coordinating with FOH staff to maintain smooth and efficient service.

Responsibilities

• Greeting & seating guests
• Passing out menus
• Taking phone calls
• Maintaining a waitlist
• Directing customers to coatrooms, restrooms or a waiting area
• Relaying orders to the kitchen
• Notifying supervisors of large parties
• Distributing reservations among waiter stations
• Advising waiters of special requests

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• A formal qualification will be an advantage
• At least 3+ years’ experience in luxury high end hotels / restaurants essential
• On-the-job training and experience in a large, busy property, hotel / restaurant
• Computer literate
