Job summary

Al Rabeeh School in Abu Dhabi invites experienced EYFS teachers to join its dynamic team and deliver high-quality early years education within an international British curriculum. You will create a nurturing, inclusive learning environment supporting social, emotional and academic growth of the youngest learners.

You will plan, assess and contribute to provision development, collaborate with the EYFS team, and communicate effectively with parents while upholding safeguarding and school values.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Years Education or a relevant subject with PGCE / QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching the English National Curriculum, preferably in an international setting.
• Strong classroom management skills and commitment to student wellbeing.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with all appointments subject to robust safer recruitment checks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, play-based and child-led learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework and the principles of the Curiosity Approach.
• Create a nurturing, inspiring and purposeful environment that encourages exploration, independence and a love of learning.
• Use effective formative assessment strategies to observe, document and track children’s developmental progress.
• Contribute to planning and continuous provision development, collaborating closely with the EYFS team.
• Support the holistic well-being of children and promote the school’s values, routines and expectations.
• Build strong, positive relationships with parents through effective communication on children’s progress, achievements and next steps.
• Participate actively in school events, professional development and wider school initiatives.
