Job description
Job Purpose

Providing support to the department director and department sections in developing corporate systems, policies, procedures and programs, and developing the corporate work system related to the tasks and responsibilities of the department in accordance with global best practices and the principles of corporate governance, in addition to providing support in preparing and reviewing related reports.

Key Results Accountabilities
  1. Develop and review the department's operational strategies and plans, ensuring their alignment with the organization's strategic directions.
  2. Propose development initiatives and projects that contribute to increased efficiency and effectiveness, and the achievement of organizational excellence.
  3. Develop frameworks and methodologies that support sustainable organizational transformation.
  4. Design and implement comprehensive organizational transformation plans, and support their application across all sectors of the organization.
  5. Develop and implement change management plans, and build organizational awareness of the importance of change and its acceptance.
  6. Support work teams in applying interactive tools and methods to ensure the success of transformation initiatives.
  7. Develop effective performance indicators for the department and its initiatives, and measure the impact of development projects and analyze their results.
  8. Prepare analytical reports that support decision-making and promote continuous improvement in organizational performance.
  9. Support digital initiatives and propose the use of modern technologies to improve processes and services.
  10. Participate in the design and activation of corporate innovation labs, and foster a culture of innovation in the workplace.
  11. Ensure compliance with corporate excellence standards and participate in preparing excellence portfolios (EFQM, Dubai Excellence, ISO).
  12. Assess the department's readiness to participate in competitive awards and provide support in self-assessment processes.
  13. Analyze future trends relevant to the organization's work and propose scenarios that support the organization's readiness.
  14. Coordinate work with other departments to ensure the integration of institutional efforts and minimize duplication and overlap.
  15. Support the implementation of human capacity development plans and provide specialized technical advice to managers and staff.
  16. Enhance knowledge transfer mechanisms and document best practices to ensure knowledge sustainability within the department.
  17. Support department managers in achieving the department's approved implementation plan within the approved timeframe.
  18. Provide ongoing support to the department manager in reviewing reports and provide feedback on received reports.
  19. Actively contribute to supporting department managers and department staff in assigned tasks.
  20. Providing opinions and advice to department managers and the director regarding contracting with consulting firms, including reviewing the scope of work, offering technical opinions, and participating in the evaluation of technical proposals.
  21. Supporting the director in forming and leading multi-skilled teams, organizing their main tasks, and monitoring their performance.
  22. Representing the department on committees and in meetings, and performing any other tasks assigned within the scope of their responsibilities.
