Job summary

Flyper is seeking an experienced phlebotomist to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. You will collect blood samples from patients, label specimens, and ensure accurate data entry while maintaining high standards of safety and patient care.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least two years of clinical needle experience, and a solid understanding of medical terminology. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse populations are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification.
• At least two years of experience working with needles in a clinical setting.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and other phlebotomy procedures such as skin punctures, preparing specimens for testing
• Properly label samples in accordance with established protocols
• Process specimens according to laboratory procedures
• Maintain high standards of quality control
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations
• Enter specimen data into the laboratory computer system
• Assist medical staff with other duties as needed
